Americium is a silvery white solid metal at normal pressure and temperature, its chemical symbol is Am and atomic number 95.
Americium metal is highly radioactive, is the fourth synthetic element discovered in the late 1944 from Glenn Seaborg. Americium-241 is the most stable isotope and it can be collected.
We suggest this element at the purity of 99,9% put inside a 2-3 cm glass ampoule with about 0,4 cm of diameter. The ampoule is argon sealed and you can see the silver surface of the metal at the centre of the button in which Am-241 is stored.
Normally available in 1 day, you can order your rare Americium-241 metal sample below.
